Spread a Little Cheer

Taking a bottle of cheer to a holiday party?  Giving your favorite vintage to someone special?  Why not dress it up with a bottle tag?  In fact, make several at once to have on hand.  Make 3 bottle tags from one sheet of 12"x12" Designer Series Paper.

Directions Wine Bottle Tag:

  1. Cut Merry Moments Designer Series Paper 4” x 12” and score at 3”.
  2. Punch 1 ¼” circle in center of 3” flap.
  3. Punch 1 ¼” circle in scrap of Real Red card stock. Center the punched hole in the 1 ¾” Scallop Circle Punch. Adhere the Real Red scallop ring to the DSP flap matching up the holes. I used 2-way glue.
  4. Stamp holly image from Embellished Ornaments stamp set with Mossy Meadow ink at top right corner of 3 ¼” x 5 ¼” Whisper White card stock. Color with Real Red ink and Old Olive ink with markers or blender pens.
  5. Stamp greeting (also from Embellished Ornaments stamp set) with Real Red Ink.
  6. Tie a bow with Gold Cording Trim and attach with mini glue dot.
  7. Adhere 3/8” Gold Glitter Ribbon to bottom of Whisper White card stock.
  8. Attach stamped and decorated Whisper White card stock to 3 ½” x 5 ½” Real Red card stock using dimensionals.

  1. Love this neat wine bottle tag. I used mine tonight for a 85th birthday party and Christmas party combo! Perfect on a bottle of Biltmore Merlot! This was so easy to make and makes such a wow presentation. Great idea Mary Knabe…my wonderful friend!

  2. Thanks, Susi. They really are easy to make. And why not make just one when you can make 3 from one sheet 12″x12″ Designer Series Paper. Start with cutting 3 pieces 12″x4″.
