My Saturday, December 26th blog post featured a video demonstration of making a Split Panel Card using the Dandy Garden Suite featured in our new January – June 2021 Mini Catalog launching January 5th. Today's blog post features a twist on these Split Panel Cards. I used the same Stampin' Up! Dandy Garden Suite products and the same cutting and scoring dimensions to make a different version of my previous Split Panel Cards. Today's Split Panel Cards are in the landscape or horizontal position rather than the portrait or vertical position.
Calypso Coral is just one of many gorgeous Stampin' Up! colors in the Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper Collection. Dandelions and dragonflies are a couple of the coordinating images seen throughout the Dandy Garden product collection. Dragonflies can be stamped then punched with the coordinating stamp set and punch or use the Dragonflies Punch to punch dragonflies from the Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper. Either way the dragonflies are a wonderful addition to your cards and paper crafting projects, especially when adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Mossy Meadow Braided Linen Trim is easy to tie bows with and just the right weight for using as a card embellishment.
My sentiment was stamped so that it is covered when the card is closed.
Misty Moonlight and bumblebees are also coordinating components of the Dandy Garden Suite. On this card, I placed the extra horizontal piece toward the top of my card rather than near the bottom as in the previous card. A simple change that makes a dramatic impact.

Cutting Dimensions:
- Start with 4 1/4" x 11". Cut off 1 3/4" from one end. This is the extra piece that you place vertically and adhere to top flap of card.
- Card base is the 4 1/4" x 9 1/4" piece you now have. Score at 1 7/8" from each end. Fold on both score lines to form top and bottom flaps for card front.
- Designer Series Paper – Cut 2 pieces 1 5/8" x 4" and 1 piece of a different but coordinating DSP 1 1/2" x 4".
- Whisper White for inside of card = 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".
