It's time for some KISS & SIP, also know as Keep It Simple, Stampers, with Stamps, Ink, and Paper. I made 4 cards with just that – stamps, ink, and paper. It's where we all started, right? Simple stamping is great for beginners, those with limited supplies (no, we don't need it all to make beautiful cards), and those who just love a clean, simple style of cards.
I used the very same products and layout for each of the 4 cards below.
Cutting Dimensions for all cards are the same
- Basic Black card base = 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4" on long side
- Poppy Parade layer = 5 3/8" x 4 1/8"
- Basic Black layer = 4 3/8" x 3 1/8"
- Old Olive layer = 4 1/4" x 3"
- Basic White layer = 4" x 2 3/4"
These cards with bunches of poppies combine coloring the poppies with Stampin' Blends in Poppy Parade and the stamping and stamping off (stamping without re-inking) of the splatter for leaves with an Old Olive ink pad. Change up the sentiment and the orientation of the card and you have 2 different but highly similar cards to send.
The card below requires no coloring of the poppy and leaves at all, just stamping with stamps in the Painted Poppies set.
I want to point out that each of the different sentiments is from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set. This is one of my go-to sets for sentiments that I would highly recommend for everyone. There's a good variety of greetings in pretty fonts.
