Send a Bouquet of Thanks

The gift of thanks and gratitude is so important. People like to be acknowledged and appreciated for their work, their efforts, their gifts given. In today's post I'm sharing a video replay of my May 24th Facebook Live. In it I demonstrate 3 different cards using the Bouquet of Thanks Stamp Set and Watercolor Pencils. I'll also show you a technique allowing you to change out the "THANK YOU" to another sentiment making this stamp set even more versatile. With so many great coloring tools and fabulous Stampin' Up! colors to use with the Bouquet of Thanks Stamp Set, it's easy to great beautiful cards.

Cutting Dimensions for all 3 cards:

  • Card base = 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/4" on long side.
  • Basic White inside card = 5 1/4" x 4"
  • Crumb Cake for stamping = 3 1/4" x 4 1/2
  • Crumb Cake layer = 3 3/8" x 4 5/8"
  • Other color card stock layer = 3 5/8" x 4 7/8"

I stamped and colored the entire image except for the banner. I then stamped the banner on a separate piece of Basic White card stock, cut it out with Paper Snips, and adhered it to the full image with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

I covered the "THANK YOU" on the red rubber with Washi Tape, inked up the entire stamp with Crumb Cake ink, removed the Washi Tape, and stamped onto the Crumb Cake card stock. Doing this gave me a blank banner. Then I could stamp a different sentiment on the banner. Doing this adds to the versatility of the Bouquet of Thanks Stamp.

  1. I just watched your video using the Bouquet of Thanks Stamp. I just love that stamp and enjoyed watching how you did different techniques. I have been using colored pencils for the coloring. Did you use crumb cake card stock for the card, layers and ink?
What is the difference between colored pencils and water color pencils? While picking up a nice green for leaves at Hobby Lobby I noticed they had both in the same color. Kind of confused me on which one I should get.
Thanks for your help and have a good day.
Looking forward to seeing wedding pictures also 🇺🇸
