I’m sharing my February Bits & Pieces Challenge I hosted for my Merry Stampers Team. Each time member who signs up receives an envelope with paper crafting “bits & pieces” – an assortment of card stock pieces, DSP, ribbon or trim, embellishments, etc. Each month is different. Each person creates a handmade card or project with at least some of all the products they are sent in their Bits & Pieces kit and any other current Stampin’ Up! products of their choosing. Then we each post a photo of both the “Bits & Pieces” they receive and their finished card or project. Their is no competition, no prize, just the joy of sharing and inspiring others to create.
This month I sent everyone a 4″ x 6″ piece of Mixed Media Florals Designer Series Paper, a few pieces of coordinating card stock of varying sizes, some ribbon or trim, and a few Heart Embellishments.
Below are photos of my Bits & Pieces kit and the fun fold card I created. I love what I was able to come up with with my Bits & Pieces and the Mixed Labels Stamp Set & Dies. What do you think?
Dimensions for Mixed Media Florals Fun Fold Card:
- Card base = 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.
- Basic White inside = 4″ x 5 1/4″
- DSP = 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Card stock for “fun fold” flap = 4″ x 2 3/4″, score at 3 1/2″ on long side.
- Basic White for front of flap = 3 1/4″ x 2 1/2″

I really enjoy seeing the creations of different people using similar “Bits & Pieces”. I think it makes us look at our products in new ways – discovering new layouts, color combinations, etc. I hope these cards provided you with a bit of inspiration also.
